Shearing

Thanks to the use of molds composed of a matrix and a punch, we can perform cold cutting on strips made from sheets, strips, coils and other profiles. The pressure allows us to give a plastic deformation to the sheet until it is cut to obtain the forming of flat sections with elaborate geometric shapes. In this way, we can obtain articles with complex shapes, in a short time and with extremely low production costs. We work with precision to offer the best result, so that the small parts produced respond perfectly to the customer's request.
Quality and accuracy in the production process, combined with the use of materials suitable for blanking, allow us to offer a long-lasting and resistant product. We are experts in the creation of insulating components with all the materials offered: Bakelite, fibreglass, thermal insulation, technical materials and plastic materials. Cutting composite and layered materials requires specific skills, which we make available to the customer.

Quality and production

Production is capable of producing thousands and millions of units, as well as small batches with limited quantities. Quality is guaranteed both by the machinery used, and by the professional skills of the staff, and by the molds tailor-made for the specific requests of the customer.
It is possible to perform blanking on all the materials offered up to one maximum thickness of 5 mm.

Blanking moulds

To carry out blanking processes we design different types of molds including block moulds, step molds and tail molds.
We also create customized progressive molds for cold working and to shape materials with high precision.
The shearing machine, also known as a press, allows us to create shapes that satisfy even the most demanding requests.
We operate using mechanical, eccentric and gooseneck presses.

Shearing of insulating materials

Precision distinguishes our work; we deal with the cutting from strips, tapes and reels of insulating materials such as: Vetronite, Bakelite, Thermal insulating, technical materials and plastic materials. For example GPO3, FR4, G11, cloth and bakelized paper, Mica, Formex, Nomex and Vulcanized Fiber.
Blanking is a cold mechanical process used to obtain semi-finished products, components and small parts that we offer to our customers after a careful study of their needs.

Other mechanical processes

In addition to blanking, we offer other mechanical processes: die-cutting, punching, creation of deep-drawing molds and drilling jigs.
Machinery, equipment and specialized professionals allow us to offer a wide range of customized products.
We have internal tooling capable of producing step and block shearing irons, drilling jigs, shearing moulds, molds and dies.

Die cutting

Die cutting is a process that allows you to make a clean cut of the material, according to the desired shape.
This process is used to create products that require precision cut shapes.
We satisfy many requests thanks to flat die processing, using the pneumatic pressure cutting method.
We also deal with half-cut die-cutting, useful for example for industrial washers and gaskets.

Punching

Our punching machines allow us to cut or perforate a material with pressure, obtaining a real shape.
This is a process applicable to a wide range of materials. Our staff is available to design the die and punch necessary to carry out the processes.

Creation of molds for drawing

We build molds that act in compression on the sheet metal. This is a deep drawing and bending action, with cold forming, which stretches and compresses the sheet metal, leaving the thickness of the material unchanged.
We create shearing molds that cold cut and deform any type of sheet metal and determine the shape and pre-established characteristics of the piece to be made.

Drilling jigs

In our internal tool shop we are able to create drilling jigs, which allow drilling to be made precisely and economically without having to use the most expensive CNC machining centres.
The drilling jig supports the creation of holes by positioning the material under the drill press. In this way production becomes faster, reducing costs in the case of large batches.
Also active in assemblies, both between electrical and thermal insulating parts and in mixed assemblies with metal and plastic components.
